I do not believe there should be a tax on property. How much money does the Federal reserve need? If the US stops borrowing, we will not need to keep taxing.

I think a consumption tax is appropriate and everyone should be taxed at the same rate on income. A flat tax. There should be no tax on capital gains, inheritance or interest.
