Readers enjoy fictional works
At the Sun-Gazette, staff members tend to read. A lot. So we thought we would share what we’re reading and let you know how they fare. Submissions from the community also are encouraged and may be mailed to the Lifestyle Department, 252 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, PA 17701 or e-mailed to life@sungazette.com. We also are interested in what you want us to read and review; just send us an e-mail or give us a call at 326-1551, ext. 3108. Reader: Dan Mason of Williamsport. What I read: “Whack a Mole” by Chris Grabenstein. Genre: Murder-mystery. Synopsis: Danny Boyle is a rookie cop in Sea Haven, a New Jersey beach resort town. He works with John Ceepak, the toughest, smartest, most honest cop since the Lone Ranger. Boyle joined the department to impress women. Ceepak is a decorated Marine veteran. Together, they dig up a cold case when Ceepak finds some trinkets on the beach with his metal detector.
