What I read: “Teacher Man” by Frank McCourt.
Genre: Autobiography.
Synopsis: “Teacher Man” takes you through McCourt’s 30-year career teaching English in the public schools of New York. While frequently questioning his desire and ability to teach, McCourt gives you an honest look at himself as well as the challenges, joys and frustrations that are an integral part of teaching.
